Data durability is our top priority. ArmorDB uses a multi-layered backup strategy to ensure that your data is safe and recoverable even in the event of major infrastructure failure.
Automated Snapshots
We take full daily snapshots of your database volumes. These are stored on encrypted, redundant S3-compatible storage with 99.999999999% durability.
Atomic Restores
Restores are performed via atomic rename-swaps. We provision a new instance, stream the data, and then swap the production entry point, minimizing downtime to seconds.
Retention Policies
Retention periods depend on your subscription plan. Free tier databases do not include automated backups, while Pro and Scale plans offer extended retention.

Manual Backups
You can trigger a manual backup anytime from the dashboard before making significant schema changes. Manual backups are stored until you delete them (up to your plan's storage limit).
