1. Privacy at a Glance
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations (GDPR, revFADP) and this privacy policy.
As an infrastructure provider, ArmorDB processes two types of data: Account Metadata (managed by us) and Tenant Content Data (managed by you, the user).
2. Data Collection & Cookies
Essential Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. These cookies are provided by our authentication partner, Clerk, and are required for you to log in and access your dashboard. We do not use any marketing or tracking cookies.
Server Log Files
Our servers automatically collect information transmitted by your browser: IP address, timestamp, browser type, and referrer. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure system stability and security.
3. Sub-processors & Infrastructure
Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany)
All managed database instances and backups are hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany. This ensures high security and data residency within the EU/EEA.
Clerk, Inc. (USA)
Authentication and user management are handled by Clerk. Data transfers to the USA are secured via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure a level of protection comparable to EU standards.
4. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
For our B2B customers, we act as a Processor for the data stored in your tenant databases. We have established a standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that governs how we handle data on your behalf. To request a copy of our DPA, please contact us at[email protected].
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and portability of your data. In Switzerland, you can also contact the FDPIC (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).
