Terms and Conditions for the ArmorDB Platform
1. Scope and Target Audience (B2B Only)
ArmorDB's services are exclusively directed at software developers, entrepreneurs, and legal entities. Use by consumers (private individuals) is expressly excluded. By registering, you confirm that you are using ArmorDB for commercial or professional purposes.
2. Service Description & "As-is" Provision
ArmorDB provides a Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) infrastructure. We offer different tiers (Free, Founder, Pro, Scale) with varying resource limits.
3. Subscription, Billing & Payments
Billing is handled via Clerk Billing. By choosing a paid plan, you agree to the recurring charges associated with that tier.
- Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
- You are responsible for providing valid payment information.
- Unpaid balances may lead to temporary suspension of your managed instances.
4. Cancellation & Termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard via Clerk Billing.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- No refunds are provided for partial months.
- Upon termination, you are responsible for exporting your data. ArmorDB reserves the right to delete data from terminated instances after a grace period.
5. User Responsibilities & Data
You are responsible for your account security and for all activities that occur under your account. You must ensure that your data and its use comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical application data.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArmorDB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Mandatory statutory liability for willful misconduct and gross negligence remains unaffected.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Bern, Switzerland.
